Reflecting on the year 2020 and the devastating impact of the bushfires in Australia, I felt compelled to develop a concept for the redesign of the brand identity for the Australian Koala Foundation. Driven by this motivation, this concept reimagined the AFK logo, evolving it from its current logo.
I aimed to preserve the core essence of the existing logo while introducing a new visual that signifies progress through a modernistic look and feel. My objective was to create a design that would become widely recognisable and serve as the cornerstone of the brand, shining in a new light. My intent of the refreshed identity was that it would seamlessly integrate into various aspects of the foundation’s operations, aligning with their intended vision. Despite this concept never being adopted by AFK after it was pitched, I still consider it to be a highlight project of mine.
